Vak Wipe is a very circumstantial action. While many decks will employ a variety of monster species, it's unlikely that many different species will be part of a single attack. Most battles will employ a smaller number of monsters, meaning less potential, and it only provides a single point of strength as a boost when a PC is fighting a single monster. If it is to be used while monsters are assigned to multiple PCs, Vak Wipe should be used in the first assigned battle since it still receives the extra boost from species in the other battles.
