Credit goes to gamespot, since I took the pic from there.--Gundam Fan 21:07, 12 July 2007 (UTC)

if Taihaku's name means venus

if his name means Venus then is it possible that it might have some connections to the fact that Venus is associated with Lucifer because both are refered to as the morning star, any comments Nekroskoma 18:02, 10 January 2007 (UTC)

Doubtful, The World is based off of Celtic and Gaelic Mythology, not Christian Mythology. --CRtwenty 18:41, 10 January 2007 (UTC)
the name Taihaku is japanese no relation (that i know of) to Celtic and Gaelic Mythology Nekroskoma 19:10, 10 January 2007 (UTC)
I never said it was. .hack in general is based off of that mythology. --CRtwenty 19:26, 10 January 2007 (UTC)

All of the Icolo memberes are named after stars. All of their English names are translations of the Japanese names of the stars their named after. The only reason that Taihaku's name was left as-is is due to the fact that Venus is a woman's name in our language. It has nothing to do with any form of mythology. And to be honest, this is the first time I've ever heard someone make any connection between Venus and Lucifer.

Lucifer was the Angel of the Morning Star, the Morning Star = Venus. --CRtwenty 04:55, 11 April 2007 (UTC)
