- Would "Virgin Peaks" be acceptable? The website I used said the first two kanji mean "untrodden" or "unexplored" and the last one as "peak" or "ridge." It's not Babelfish, but http://www.j-talk.com/nihongo/ if that makes it seem any more credible.--SicInfit 00:59, 6 October 2007 (UTC)

I found out a subtitle was released (～真理の高み～, ~Height of Truth~), so I did another run and now I'm pretty sure of the origin. It turns out the current spelling is pretty much correct, since the actual word has so many different romanizations. "Al-Fadl" means "the prominent," or an "excess of good." According to this article, "Al-Fadl" is used in the Surah Yunus to mean "ilm", which is truth/knowledge (specifically the Quran), so here it probably means "The Truth". I have no idea what they're reading to get these names, you can barely milk it out of the internet in English, let alone Japanese... As for "Bal Bol", I might take another try at that sometime, but heck, between the Alvissmal and the Surah Yuna, it could be like, I dunno, Incan or something... - Kuukai2 03:55, 26 December 2007 (UTC)
