Project GU[]

So... Project GU and the RA Plan are the same? Or are they different? Kulaguy 23:36, 15 June 2006 (UTC)

They're very closely related, and the line between them is very vague. I'll try rewatching the terminal disc and get back to you on that. The R.A. Plan is Amagi's overall plan, and Project G.U. is the operation to carry it out, more or less... - Kuukai 09:18, 16 June 2006 (UTC)
Well it'd make sense to combine them... since they're so closely related. From what I can tell R.A. Plan was the general term, while Project G.U. was its codename by CC Corp. It's like Pluto Again and the Twilight Incident. Personally, since Project G.U. has so many meanings, I think it'd be more convenient to just have R.A. Plan be the default one. It's less confusing that way rather then having to shuffle through all... three instance of Project GU? --CRtwenty 11:05, 19 July 2006 (UTC)
Ok, this is going to go against my previous statement. But I think it's time we opened up this discussion again... The line between Raven, Project G.U., and the R.A. plan is all very hard to distinguish. I think trying to clear up the differences between each part is something we should work on. Any suggestions? --CRtwenty 16:32, 13 March 2007 (UTC)

The way I understand it, Project GU was the group set up to find a way to bring Aura back, the R.A. Plan was the plan they came up with, and Raven is the guild of Epitaph Users that CC Corp. is trying to use to salvage the R.A. Plan. Although I'm probably wrong...--Hencho414 17:04, 13 March 2007 (UTC)

Ok, "Project G.U." seems to have two distinct incarnations:

  • 1st incarnation - Amagi's team, formed by CC with the mission to bring back Aura. After research, Amagi proposed the R.A. Plan, a strategy involving the recreation of Morganna under PC control.
  • 2nd incarnation - Usually called G.U., but I could swear I've heard a "Project" in there once or twice. Formed by CC to investigate the mysterious errors occuring in R:2 (caused by the AIDA). They recruited Yata, an information trader, hacker, and former .hacker to lead the team, and put one of their own people on the job too. They gave them the Serpent of Lore, a station from which all of The World can be monitored. Yata went on to make various covers for his activities: Raven, TaN, and Moon Tree's 4th division. For a little while, G.U. was under the command of Sakaki, and the only members were Sakubo, Endrance, and Pi (I think).

At any rate, the R.A. Plan and Raven are distinct from Project G.U., which may or may not be two things. - Kuukai2 17:45, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
