Star Viking is incredibly powerful, and its play requirement is nothing but beneficial in an alien deck since it allows 4 additional plays. The only drawback to it is the fact that it may be difficult to have the 4 aliens necessary to play Star Viking, even in an alien deck. Its reward complements its own play requirement and allows the user to recycle several cards given that they are of the same element as a spottable alien (this includes aliens belonging to the opponent).
