Trivia

• Out of all the returning characters in Tokio's party, his character is the most different from his original.

• Ironically, Sakaki's design in LINK is somewhat similar to one of the recent designs for the Pokémon character Giovanni. This is further supported by the fact that Giovanni's name in the Japanese version of Pokémon is Sakaki, along with the fact that both characters have similar personalities and are portrayed in an antagonistic fashion.
