Plaird (プレアド) is a hacker who became a Wandering AI and inhabitant of Net Slum. He is also a character in the Epitaph of the Twilight.
Epitaph of the Twilight
In the Epitaph of the Twilight, Plaird or the Pleiads are ambiguously one of or all of a group of seven water sprite sisters who gain(s) a shadow/shadows from falling in love.
Appearance
Plaird appears as a Wavemaster with missing pieces.

.hack Games
Kite meets Plaird in a corrupted dungeon, and Plaird tells Kite the keyword to access Net Slum. Lios then appears and deletes him, but he is later seen in Net Slum. No explanation is given for this, except for the fact that the same thing happens to Lycoris and an unnamed winged girl in Udeden.

- Plaird seems to be a misromanization of Pleiad, which is singular for one of the Pleiades
