Background Story
Lia Fail means "the stone of destiny." This city was a holy ground for the Tartarga people before the great war, but it was destroyed by the Carmina Gadelica forces which did not like the idea.
.hack//Games
During the events of the Games, the Omega Server became highly unstable and was replaced with a mirror created by Helba. Later on in the story, the final battle takes place in the Omega Server and as Helba's mirror is about to be destroyed, Junichiro Tokuoka manages to switch the servers at the last minute, saving the .hackers's lives.

Lumina Cross houses the Arena and the @Home of Ikoro, a guild consisting of the Arena champions. Having no fields, the only PKing that can occur in Lumina Cross is in the Arena.
Arena
There are three arena circuits, by level, each name seemingly derived from the Epitaph of Twilight:
- Kouma (Crimson Devil)
- Hekisei (Cobalt Saint)
- Ryuuken (Dragon's Wisdom)
