Kaochin's effect is straightforward: when she is played, you may log out a PC. As the text does not specify whose PC, it can be assumed that either one of your own or one of your opponent's PCs can be chosen for log out. Thus, playing Kaochin not only strengthens your own defense by playing a PC, but lowers the opponent's defense by taking away a PC. It's best to play Kaochin when the opponent has a PC equipped with a powerful weapon.
