Kaya Frebe (カヤ・フレーベ) was the late wife of Ryuuji Sogabe as well relative of Lillie Weiss.

Kaya was severely afflicted by neurological problems. Due to this, she barely got out of her house, causing her problems to socialize.

Kaya is of German ethnicity, with light blonde hair and blue eyes. She is slender. She has an adventurous and amicable demeanor with a traditionally feminine style of behavior. She is friendly and approachable, traits that make her attractive to Ryuuji.
History[]
At a young age, Kaya and her father were part of an ALTIMIT game test in California that would eventually cause her father to become psychotic and commit suicide. Kaya moved to Germany, Munich, and guardianship over her passed onto Mr. and Mrs. Weiss, Lillie’s parents. Eventually she would develop symptoms like those of her father and as a result would have to attended the Technical University of Munich, Faculty of Medicine to receive treatment for her psychological illness.
In 2009, she meet Ryuji Sogabe and the two fell in love. He helped her get cured and the two married and had a child called Sasha by 2011. Tragedy would hit the family in 2015, when Kaya crashed her car along with her daughter Sasha in a lake in what at the time seemed like suicide.
In 2023, Ryuji meets with a resurrected Geist who gives him the autopsy report of Sasha, which indicated that his daughter had heart problems and that maybe Kaya didn't commit suicide but rather tried to get her to a hospital but had a car accident on the way.
