Blades (古刀) are weapons used by Blade Brandiers in The World R:2 when in battle. There is one main type of Blade, though "type-less" Blades are also available:
- Hold and Release, where after a successful hit the wielder pulls the sword back and then unleashes a single, very powerful impact attack.
- Rapid Attacks, where after a successful combo, the wielder then holds his/her sword up to the monster horizontally and causes a quick succession of damage.
