Azure Flame Kite is a zombie like version of the previous protagonist Kite. Kite's features are very distinct, he is shown with patchwork and stitches throughout his clothing, a shoulder band, belt across the neck, color alterations and a unique symbol on his hat. Azure Flame Kite has blue hair, sharp teeth and tattoos located on each side of his face, and his eyes are an electric green. He travels as a ball of light and arrives with a barrier of azure flames. He also wields a pair of triple edged blades and possesses his own version of the Twilight Bracelet.

In Lumina Cross Tsukasa spots Tri Edge (Azure Flame Kite), mistaking him for Kite and follows him believing that he is an acquaintance at the least. Tri Edge later returns to defend Tsukasa from attack by Haseo.
